love is the argument
you don’t want to havelove is the condition
of breaking not bendinglove is giving up everything
in ways you never thought possiblelove is the empty tube of tooth paste
and the toilet paper that runs out
at the most inopportune timeslove is the late night chocolate milkshake run
when your half asleep on the couch
and too tired to move to your own bedlove is forever changing
forever complicated
forever moving in the opposite directionof where you want it to go.
